I didn't wanna give anything away in case it was on again or someone recorded it but Ferrari is fading for whatever reason, Red Bull is really coming on strong and Mercedes just keeps on dominating.
Well, the driver's championship is done, and Bottas has a decent chance of overtaking Vettel for 2nd, completely validating Mercedes choice in hiring him. The constructor's championship has been done for a while now, so no surprises there. The Reds Bull do keep getting stronger but they're too far behind Ferrari to take 2nd unless Ferrari just completely falls apart the last 4 races like they have done recently. If Renault keeps getting more power out of their engine Red Bull have a decent chance of fighting with Mercedes next year...... So, much as I hate to say it, Congrats to both the Hamster and Mercedes for their wins this season.
Thanks for posting this. The race was not broadcast in my area so I had to watch highlights and heard this conversation mentioned. I was wondering what it was all about.
Same here, but I also agree with Allan McNish who opined "This is why I do not agree with televising the drivers breifing, it needs to be an open, frank, uncensored meeting not a public debate." Though I suppose there's a chance that critique from public exposure might cause some of them to think twice about some of their motives and actions, I can also see how the thought of exposure might be more likely to cause them to keep their mouths shut about things they really need to discuss. That said, I like this glimpse into how the drivers meeting works.
Grosjean makes himself look like a little tattle tale. Is this just sour grapes because Lewis can win a race & celebrate while Gosjean has little chance of ever doing that?
Surprise! Seriously, huh? Hartley to make F1 debut for Toro Rosso at COTA (racer.com) Full article: http://www.racer.com/f1/item/144991-hartley-to-make-f1-debut-for-toro-rosso-at-cota
Wow, surprised indeed. Kinda out off nowhere, really. I wonder how he’ll adapt. I still think JEV would have been a better choice. Heck, I bet they could’ve got Mark Webber in for a day if they tried.
Hartley sure is a talented guy but I always thought he looked like he should have been playing for Pearl Jam.
