You had your picture taken and they didn't arrest you on the spot. Wait a minute, that's the Post Office. Be careful mailing letters...
Dave make sure to buy the biggest & most expensive snowblower you can find. That will virtually guarantee there will be no snow. :yesnod:
About to open up the small bottle... I wiped it down one more time, have about 20 microfiber towels standing by, lights, gloves, mask, applicator foam is cut, etc. The temp in the garage is now 60F after heating it all morning. Outside it's 35F and raining, and it will be raining for the next 12-24 hours. Windy, misty drizzle crap, so outside inspection isn't happening. This isn't a show car, so I just want the stuff for the protection. It will hit the salty roads in a few weeks. Obviously I'll try my best to not have cloudy areas, given I spent a week and a half buffing that paint. I'll do two layers at least (small car, enough product) and maybe tomorrow a cure layer as they suggest in the video. I have two more cars to perfect the technique if I like what will materialize in the garage today...
^^^^ cool and your color will not show very dark spots like black and red do. You should be fine with your set up.
Got three layers of MOHS on the car. Paint looks freaking incredible for a 12 year old car that other than being stored in winters has really not been taken care of. Amazing how well the bumper came out, given it had seem its fair share of gravel over the last 88k miles. The white paint on the roof looks better than new paint. Waiting 12 hours for the Cure application and then I'll probably keep it in the garage for the rest of the week. Not sure if I can take photos that do it justice. Will try something with my LED light strip. Always wanted to try some light painting inside the garage
Took mine to a place we’re all pretty familiar with today. Round trip including dragon runs was a little over 500 miles. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
fishmonger, 35F where do you live? thats too cold!!! its 70 here in the south the home of the king and its 8 in the morning. You really need to move south.
all the bugs are dead here. No fire ants, no termites. Pros and cons... I may be skiing in a month. Gotta sort out that roof rack situation by then.
Today I took off the summer rims and tires and put on the winter S-lite beaters with winter tires on them. Come on Spring and Dragon season.
You have to compare zip codes, these days, since nobody lives where they are from, anymore. I live in a well educated, well compensated zip code. What's the zip code for Camden? Oh, nothin' exciting happening with my MINI today. I picked up a few groceries. Woohoo! CD
Since the weather has changed significantly the last few days, I got the low tire warning light this morning, so I drug the air hose outside and topped them all up. The bride and I just went for a pizza (Ummm, Minskys!) and all the lights were off again, so I musta got it right.
I live less then a mile from the hospital where I was born and 5 miles from the home I grew up in. My wife is from one county over.
Almost traded the R56 in this past weekend for a 2017 All4 Clubman S with a 6 spd (SUPER good deal, exec. demo). What the hell is wrong with me....? Other than that scare, Bitsy is running great, feeling great since having both control arm bushings in.
Did my end of summer 5,000 mile oil and oil filter change.... My MINI will soon be put away for winter hibernation.... It doesn't like that salty mess.... It will sleep hooked up to my battery tender.... Still original battery going on 9 years soon... My engine and transmission was nice and clean and dry with no oil leaks.... They did a mucher beta job sealing up the R56 engine than that old leaker of a R53.... With that, I'll exit stage left...
I'll have to agree with you, Babs little clubster seems to have less of a leaking issue that my R53 did. Although it has fewer houses so maybe the R53 leaks were from all the horses peeing? It's sad that Fungo has to go in hibernation, but it's for his own good. :snowblower: Hope you used the right oil.....
Hibernation? Snow? Winter? I'm so confused by these terms. Today, I just got in and drove to work and enjoyed the burble of the exhaust and some good metal music. I still love driving this every day.
