Steak, baked potato(e), homade biscuits (not in the shape of a MINI tho)
and a tall, cold glass of milk!

Our local Target Superstores carry a brand of meats called Sutton and Dodge that is top restaurant quality at Target prices - if they have it in your area give it a try - great stuff!

Will have to try that MINIDave!

OK, folks, ... you're stranded on a desert island, and you can only have one thing to eat, what will it be? Me? The humble peanut. I don't get tired of it. Boiled fresh, roasted, salted, with wasabi, whatever!

Just had Cuban at Havana South in Buford. Excellent as usual!

Arroz con Pollo. Now, if only the temperatures were more Cuban-like...

And Nathan, I thought you Texans were tough? Gonna let a little snow get between you and a Ribeye??!! Let me know if you need hooked up, I work for one of the largest grill tool manufacturers in the world.

Very nice. Garlic is is king!

    Just finished this:

    Sorry, lousy phone photo.

I like things spicy, so I kicked it up a notch with this sign-a-waiver-strong hot sauce!

Sooo, my daughter heads back to college this week.

My wife and I wanted to spend an evening out with our daughter. We decided to have dinner at one of our favorite Indian restaurants here in Columbus. Outside it was snowing this evening but we were having a wonderful meal and family conversation with just the three of us.

I had the lamb shank with shrimps over a bed of fragrant rice with coconut, raisins, and cashews and a side of nan. Washed it all down with two bottles of Kingfisher beer. The meal and evening together was fantastic. :D

    Ah yes, Pfifferlings.....
    Brings back memories.....
Traveled to Germany several years ago on business with the Andersen window company from Bayport Minnesota. We visited another window company located in Wolfsburg (VW territory). We were spending an evening out with some of their engineers. Those Germans sure know how to party.
Had the veal with Pfifferlings and red cabbage with a side of spatsel. All washed down with copious amounts of German beer and wine. I sure paid for it the next day trying to concentrate during our business meetings.

Spicy pork bulgogi, sticky rice, tempura shrimp and onion with Korean style mashed potato, Sushi(2 pcs)edamame, Salad, Miso soup and Kimchee. . .BEST $8 lunch ever. I love my lil Asian market. In addition to a lot of the goods I miss from Oahu, it has about 8 lil cafes inside that do stellar for for a hobo budget. I go about once a week to stock up on Bao buns, and stuff for the weekly Dim Sum, and will stop in at one of these places. I am always impressed at the quality and quantity.
