I have a 07 Mini S Convertible, I will be getting new tires this spring would like to get a alignment , purchased in 2011 just rolled over 50,000 miles. My tire store says it's very involved and more than they can do. I live in Ashland ,Ohio so I could go north or south. Any recommendations?

It IS very involved if you do it right......for example they call for weights to be placed in various places around the car.....ride height measurements and so on - so kudos to your tire shop for not wanting to do it wrong and screw up your new tires.

My dealership charges $200 to do a 4 wheel alignment on a MINI, I've decided it's worth it......so that's where I take mine.

A local tire/wheel shop did 4-wheel alignment on my 06 R52 and also reduced negative camber on the rear by 1/2 degree. ( Stock is 1.5 degrees) Car tracks and drives perfectly and tires Wear evenly. Just find a competent suspension Person.

Many shops have the same issue with any BMW. I've heard about the weights from a few places that won't do MINI, so I just go to the dealer.

A full tank of gas and a someone to sit on the drivers side. Is recommended Just had mine done at some place by the way. Afterward I decided to put on the control arm bushing. And will have it checked again once everything is seated. Tires can get pretty expensive. Good luck
