I have a 2013 Clubman S automatic with roof rails and mud flaps. My back window and doors get instantly covered with road dirt, especially when it is moist outside. Any suggestions on what aero-package would solve this problem?
There are a couple of things on the market that claim to help prevent this happening, but in reality, it just gets dirty back there real fast. Not much you ca do about it other then soap and water.
Hey, look on the bright side - at least you don't have a Convertible that collects dirt as fast but doesn't have any way of washing the rear screen.
LOL, you said dirty boot! /Sorry, it was caused by a splitting headache, no lunch, caffeine and stuck at my craptastic job.
Welcome to owning a MINI in dirty road conditions.....Just be glad you dont have a convertible...They dont have rear wipers....Happy Motoring Dirty Rear Window is like a badge of honor ...right?
How about tear-offs, like NASCAR teams use on their, uh, windshields? :biggrin5: Seriously, this is an aerodynamic problem inherent in the design of hatchbacks, so there's really nothing you can do about it except RainX the window to make it a little harder for stuff to stick.
A Mini has the aerodynamics of a brick so you will never be able to keep it clean. Your MINI is just a small tractor trailer where the back doors will always dirty. Life of a MINI owner.
That's why we all are experts at cleaning and polishing our MINI's..... OCD cleaning disorder... AKA Prima syndrome....
^^^ Truth be told Jim MM Chuck followed me across a dirt road once. I'm sure he didn't like it, but it did happen.
My car has only left the garage once this month since I now work from home. When I do take it out it I do not baby it and it gets dirty because I like cleaning it.
