Sometime back I had seen a parts supply website that had oem MINI parts as well as any make/model. I had the site bookmarked but the PC that had that on it crashed.
I don't remember the name of the website, but you could get just about anything.

I am asking because I need the plastic cowl that goes over the battery on a 09 R55, it is the piece that has the door in it for access to the battery and the windshield seal on that side.

Anyone know the name of website or who may have that piece.

Send eMINIParts a PM with your VIN and get you the exact OEM part you need.

I tried to place a substantial order with ECS, twice. I got tired of waiting on hold after 20 minutes. Called back later only to be told I'd be put on hold again. When I mentioned my previous 20 minute hold I was told in a not very nice way that they were busy & I wasn't their only customer. They were right I was not their customer, I became a loyal eMINIparts customer from that day on. eMINI parts help us everyday by supporting this site we all enjoy using.

What do you mean ECS doesn't support "us" as a whole?

    Mine broke too...

That plastic hinge doesn't handle the cold very well...

    eMINIparts is quick and helpful...

Sent some PM's this morning to confirm a couple things. Placed the order around 10 CST and not only had a tracking number by 11am CST, but a PM as well!

    Thanks, eMINIparts!

Wow. I guess the next time I suggest a vendor to answer someones question I need to make sure they're on the approved vendors list.
I suggested them because I bought several parts from them. I used them because they had the best price, they shipped fast, and the service was good. That's usually what I base my recommendations on.

If you are happy that's cool. No need to consult a list, I just like to promote those that help the site and suit my odd peculiarities.

I don't have a problem with that Nathan. I had never even looked at the list of vendors until tonight. It seems I already use several of them, and in the future I'll try to send more business to supporting vendors, all things being equal. A lot of times though, with my fixed income, it will still come down to price.

Oh boy. I broke mine too. Haven't had it come off with the bonnet in the closed position yet...
