I have the sidewalk knob on my M/T shifter right now. I think I'd like the JCW shifter better. If I were to take the current knob off, would I be able to put it back on at a later time if I chose to?

I removed & reinstalled mine when changing shift boots so you should be OK.

As I'm strength compromised (TBI), I'll have to ponder that part as well.

They sort of snap on and off. But it is a hard pull for off and a pound of the fist for on.
