1st Gen R52 Cooper Convertible R52 rear bumper foam wedges?

    Anyone remember how the two small foam wedges fit in the R52 rear bumper? The body shop took it apart this time, and it's been years since I've had one apart. Can't figure out how to position these things...

    Already did. Not very helpful in this case.

    Part 8 here. I think they fit behind the hinge somehow... But playing with it, it's not obvious. And I usually don't need things to be too obvious...

    I don't ever put that carp back, it's just extra weight to slow you down... But in your case it might be enough to balance the car for your next big jump.
