Not sure I like the Japanese Warrior Helmet look... But it's encouraging that work is under way as a fix for the front bumper...

Better then MINI came up with but whaaaaaay to many hole and vents.

Its a MINI not an F-1 car or a spaceship or JDM Honda Civic for Fast and Furious. :mad2:

Agreed. At least the section where the fog lights would go looks to be a separate piece. One could possibly remove that and replace it with somthing a bit less cluttered.

Looks like a Star Wars Stormtrooper helmet to me.

You can dress up a pig as much as you like, it is still a pig. I like the rest of the car, it has grown on me, but the front end bugs me. Would I buy one? Maybe, when the R50 takes a carp, because there is not much else out there at the moment (that I can afford to buy) that I like.

Need to see it in full and painted. But it has potential.

They gotta get rid of all the horsecrap below the grill. Why couldn't they have designed something elegant and understated, they might have a chance at selling more than a handful of them.

The blind have better taste than that Dave...

Painted or not, looks like a HONDA in the mid '90s! Think I saw the same "style" of bumper for 1/4 the price at the flea-market.

I didn't say it was perfect, I said it had potential.
Just like putting lipstick on a pig on Friday Night.

Only if you really need it!!

Better without the inserts, but I'd need to see a side view of the entire car.

As M1N1 said, most of the F56 I've grown to tolerate but as hard as I try, I just can't seem to get past the front end overhang. I don't know if accentuating the lower part of the front fascia, perhaps with a sizable splitter, would take your eyes away from the bulbous nose or would just make the whole thing worse.

Kind of sad that we're all discussing mods designed to disguise rather than highlight... :frown5:

Maybe off topic but many sales guys at my local Mini dealer don't like the 6-speed transmission, it's all or nothing as far as applying pressure on the clutch and flywheel thanks to the shift assist on the Mini Cooper S F56. I hope the JCW comes without that shift assist. The reason for implementing this is because it will prolong the life of the clutch and flywheel and make a guy with poor shifting skills look good, no more feathering the clutch with a gradual engagement. No more quick launches which is why the new F56 are slower than a 2013 MCS 0-60.

You can disable it by putting it in Sport Mod and disabling DSC.

A.K.A. Turn off all Nanny features and drive a stick how it should be driven.

I think if you paint it flat black, you wouldn't even notice all the holes and vents.
