So I have had my 2015 Cooper S for seven months. The default driving mode is Mid, and I have been switching it Sports typically.

All of a sudden after spending a week at the body shop (don't ask), I noticed the default is now GREEN.

No matter what I do to change it after a restart it goes back to GREEN.

    Please help..

    Thanks

Interesting. I know the 2nd Gen cars always reset back to standard mode from Sport. Didn't know the 3rd Gen cars could be set to a mode and left there.

Wonder if the body shop did any reprogramming. I'd ask them.

Actually they shouldn't be, they are supposed to default to Mid after a restart just like the previous.

Thanks, I will ask the body shop, they shouldn't have been playing with controls. :(

Does your owner's manual have any information on it? Maybe there's a setting you can change that's spelled out there.

Since a body shop could have unhooked the battery while doing work, I'd also be concerned about any computer issues that might have occurred when it was powered down and back up. I'm assuming you're well under warranty, so I'd have the dealer look it over. (I'm really cautious, especially when the manufacturer picks up the tab.)

Oops I didn't notice the replies.

Zapski, thanks but no mention in the owner's manual. :(

DryMartini, thanks I made an appointment to take my Mini in Saturday.
