Thanks for sharing. Just a tip, lose the music. It's not needed and actually takes away from videos IMHO.

Thanks for the feedback. Actually I muted the music during the actual Dyno run portion to avoid losing the sound of the run. I actually love the music in this video. Feel it adds to it. But to each their own :)

Exhaust only and no ECU tune?

Pedro, maybe I didn't read carefully enough, but did you run the JCW tuning kit exhaust w/out the ECU tune in your baseline? Did you do the stock exhaust and no tune?

I'm very interested in what can be gained by exhaust and no ECU tune because I run in SCCA street class with an S where we can change exhaust but no ECU tunes are allowed.

    Thanks!

I bought the car with the JCW exhaust and tune already on the vehicle so baseline run was done with exhaust AND JCW software on the car.

Power at the crank numbers ???? No one uses those except auto manufactures.:lol::lol:

Your real number is: 206.53 whp which is ok for just an exhaust and "Custom" tune.

I have about 260 at the wheels "WHP" so I easily make 300 BHP but I don't go around telling people I have 300 hp.

You state on the Motoring Fun site that the F56 JCW has a bigger TURBO - it does NOT, the ONLY difference between the Factory JCW Motor and the Cooper S is the pistons, the compression on the Factory JCW motor is a little lower. Head, Injectors, Turbo all exactly the same.

Interesting.. I'll have to look into this. Logically, if compression is lower in the JCW but everything else is the same, it would have less HP unless the turbo is turned up to compensate. Is that a correct assumption based on your research?
