M/A is the R56 DME the same as the e9x DME? Just wondering because since Alta/Cobb discontinued the Accessport for the Second Gen due to low sales, I've been wanting to get one for my car but I don't know if the DME for the e9x is the same as the R56. I did just send Cobb an email asking if the Accessport for a 2013 e9x would work.

Edit: changed my mind, might be going with a JB+ Tune and an RMW Flash tool, if I can get read outs like a Scan Gauge or P3 on the Flash tool.

Edit #2: Flash tool doesn't give out readings like a Scan Gauge or P3, so will just keep the Scan Gauge hooked up to my OBD port. Still haven't made any decisions just yet.

Edit #3: Didn't realize that RMW's tuner is only for the N14 R56. Oh well. JB+ it is.

    Thanks for the help M/A!!

M/A is very helpful. Thought I would ask. Got into contact with Cobb and they told me that the Acessport for the e9x won't work with the R56.

Manic can flash tune the N18 DME. It's a better option that the JB+.

Unfortunately, I'm still on my factory warranty, and don't want to spend big $$$ for an ECU Tune right now.
