Hey guys, I changed my flywheel and clutch this weekend and everything is back together. Very glad to get rid of my DMF rattle. However, during reassembly I could not remember what the other end of this plus goes to. I’ve looked all over and even did a part number search to no avail. It’s a two pin plug mounted right next to the washer bottle.

Anybody know off the top of their heads? Thanks!

A google search with R56 and 7514237 turned up some references to AC/Heat blower fans (but the link just took me to ebay). So maybe it connects to the AC somewhere?

I also found it on Real OEM as a part of a battery cable harness (which makes some sense, given it is an electrical connector), but not for an R56.

and here, looking like it feeds into the air pipe from the filter to the engine.

Not yet. I've searched for the matching plug to no avail. I'm probably going to remove the left inner fender today to get a better view. I'm hoping it's related to a yellow DSC and brake indicator on the dash.
I saw that it came up for an R60 on RealOEM, but that orientation and position doesn't look correct.

If you're referring to that breather sensor, it's been accounted for. The plug in question is mounted next to the washer bottle behind the fresh air intake tube.

it sure looks like it clips into a sensor on that air line running from filter to turbo, near the oil like for the turbo

This looks kind of like it. This is on my R58 with the n14 engine. You can see on my car it plugs into something under the air intake hope thi helps

Negatory, going to do some dismantling tonight to try to find its mate.

    Here's what I'm referring to.

ECSTuning told me that it was a sensor plug for an optional alarm.

Wouldn't it be nice if they labeled the connectors so we don't drive ourself crazy looking for the place to plunge it in!
