As some of you may recall, I was rear-ended in October. Since then, the "seatbelt idiot light" on the center speedometer and the "Passenger airbag warning" light would sporadically come on, even if someone weighing 200# was sitting in the passenger seat.

Now the lights are ALWAYS on, whether someone is sitting there or not.

Had a local BMW/MINI shop take a look at it while they were taking care of another issue and this is what they discovered:

    50 Power Supply
    31 Belt Tensioner, driver
    31 Belt Tensioner, driver
    8A Airbag sensor, B-pillar, right (X-direction)

    Control unit internal fault
    Undervoltage

    71 Seat occupancy detector, passenger
    Fault currently present
    Sending fault
    Fault frequency 65

    Recommended solution:

    52-10-6-961-319 $617.40

    Labor to R&R Occupancy Grid/Cushion $344.00

Input & comments are greatly appreciated. :donut1:
