Today I finally got around to modifying the rear wiper arm to accept standard 13 inch ANCO wiper blades. By the way, the tiny O ring that seals the end of the hollow wiper arm shaft was kaput. So I found that a #60 O ring fits perfectly so all the washer solvent exits the nozzle. Replaced the spring for more tension, may have to adjust some. Waiting for epoxy to setup. Better than new! PS I know..... OEM blades are 12 inch. 120,000 miles motored
While we are talking about the rear wiper, I knew it was intermittent while driving forward, but I just realized it runs constantly while in reverse. I did not know that and yes, it is raining today. Jim
All right Jim, what are you doing now......? Practicing for this?:biggrin5: Brush up on your Dutch first..... [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zoh8i0jfpTo]daf achteruitrijden (1/2) - YouTube[/ame]
Jim, I did't know that (runs constantly while in reverse)! Have to go out and try that. Might just go to the next MOTD, at lease I'll be able to see.
I can't believe that was the first time I backed up in 2 and a half years, with the rear wipe on, but I guess it was. Make your reservation for MOTD now Norm. A good time is had by all. Jim

Well Jim, today it's raining here, the feature you mentioned about the rear wiper running continuously while in reverse didn't make it onto my July build 2003 MCS. Oh yeah, the wiper arm I used came off of a Jaguar.
That is odd Norm. Raining here too and the wiper still remains on while in reverse. Maybe the factory screwed up the wiring on mine. Jim
