So this has been rolling around in my head for years and finally nearing completion. It will be available in multiple configurations as a turn key track car.........:devil:
Here we will go through the journey of making a turn key race car from the ground up. All of the people who helped to make this a reality. The many sponsors, friends and family. I can't thank everyone enough. It's been tough meshing everyone together with time lines, health issues, death and about everything else under the sun. I wish I could have gotten this done before my parents passed away. I'm sure they would have been proud. The car will be at SEMA but it will not be in the final condition as I have other stuff that won't be done. So I will treat you to pics of the car as it has gone from thought process to reality.
First sponsor: Good Aero LLC, the best wing you can find out there
    [IMG]
the reason it looks like an airplane wing is because it's made in an aircraft facility
    [IMG]
winshield has been laid back 4" for aero:D
    [IMG]
rain gutters etc have been taken off and blended for smooth airflow
    [IMG]
roof is stand length, when we laid back windshield we added to body behind gas cap so car looks proportional. Even Colin didn't notice the windshield was laid back

the cabin is sealed from the outer shell so air can be run down the inside of the car to duct into the coolers and out the back for minimal drag
    [IMG]

Here you can get an idea of how the air will get down the sides
    [IMG]

as you can see you are sitting in a bath tub of tubes protecting you in event of a crash (even more tubes are added after the above pics)
the TUBE in TUBE technology in key stress areas will keep the tubes from bending. The tube is welded inside the other then the chassis tube is slid over it and welded again. This is an incredibly strong tube now but it is also light weight for the strength

the entire car is over built as I want it to do Rally racing and be able to take a hit in door to door
    [IMG]
yes that's a R56 steering rack. Will have 2 modes of steering just like the stock one
    [IMG]

the amount of adjustability in the car is pretty amazing. So much time has gone into the geometry of the arms. I seriously can't wait to drive it. For those that know suspension geometry I think you will be amazed when you see the cycling of the control arms and how it works

it will run in NASA GTS, ST and SU, TTU
    SCCA has a couple also

We can detune the car with a stock engine and run about 3x as many categories. Good thing is it will be a sorted turn key race car:devil:
