I found it hard to see my Scan Gauge and GPS due to the sun glare. So, I got some sheet metal, snips and a can of black primer and came up with this. Jim BTW: Don't worry MM. You job is still safe. :cornut:
Hey...... What's wrong with that? Nice job Jim, were you taking notes when you had those siding guy's out?
Yes sir I did, and they left some great scraps for me to play with. It was a simple project, but some of the cool toys you have in your shop would have been a big help. Jim
Looks great, can you make me one for the G2X display on my dash please. It's the one that is partially hidden above the steering wheel. Daytime glare is not so much an issue as the nighttime refection of the readout on the windshield.
I would sure give it a try, but MM might be a better choice. At any rate you would have to make a tracing of it and take measurements. Jim
They make good stuff. If you get one let me know and I explain the easy way to mount it. Their instructions tell you to take the dash apart, but is completely unnecessary. They also make on that mounts to the right of the center stack for a cell phone or what have you. I have it too. Jim
