I come to the site and I post up thinking there would be some good chatter going on in the JCW forums here. But nope, it's dead! Cmon people! You have a JCW! That's amazing! Show it some love here on the forums! I know I am!

    JCW

Well I'll respond, I have 2: a 2006 JCW GP with custom leather seats, RMW tune, gauge pkg, leather dash and down tubes. Love and baby it. Also I have an 2009 JCW CR/BLK no sunroof or Nav but pretty much loaded. I have a set of Alta gauges I'll install when it gets a little cooler out. The 09 is my daily driver, what a rocket and still getting 30.9 mpg combined(90% city driving). I've added pictures in the "Garage" so take a look. Cheers. Gman

    OK, I'll share....
2006 JCW, Blk on Dark Silver with almost every option possible. I waited years to get the JCW as a factory option as I did not want the dealership to violate my car with the kit install, and from what I have experienced otherwise from my dealership, that was a wise decision.

I also take great care of my baby. I try to keep it as much MINI and JCW as possible.

So do you miss the S/C whine when you drive the '09? That was one of the main reasons I bought a used JCW over just an 'S'.

    New To me

I just got a JCW Checkmate 06. I was thinking about a new JCW car, but after driving it, I just like the early car better. The new car is a nicer regular car, and the engine is great. The older car is more fun to drive. We are now a two Mini family. My wife has a purple haze 05 S, and I have the JCW. Any of you guys want to comment on different shops tuning? I am thinking about trying to get one.

Personally I don't miss the whine of my '04 after I put an Alta on my '09 JCW and can know here the turbo and blow-off.

    Hey Hey-

New to the Mini world I just picked up a Chili Red '09 JCW as a trade in for my '07 350z and I wouldn't go back. I love that little car

Future plans may be the Alta Intercooler, hot side boost tube, and boost gauges.

I've never tuned a turbo before so I am just trying to read up on the effects it will have on drivability.

I have an '08... Love it! Really don't wanna do anything to it, because I am already on borrowed time for a speeding ticket in the little ICBM...

    r50 jcw

My 03 r50 has all ( i think) the JCW upgrades possible. I am planning on a new cam, larger injectors and some brake/ suspension mods as time goes on.

If you have an R50 with a JCW Tuning Kit, then you are the first I've read about other than my own. My 2004 JCW Cooper has JCW Tuning Kit #475.
