What can I expect maintenance/repair wise across the next 10-15k?

:cornut: My Margi 08 R56 BRG MCS/JCWm hasn't needed anything between 50kmi and now at 75kmi other than oil changes, tire replacement, and the usual routine maintain.

PS- Prior to 50kmi was when she was a garage queen with numerous warranty covered fixes but all's fine since 50kmi.

Just turned over 100k in my JCW. No major issues. Just things that are already known. Turbo oil line twice. Chain tensioner once. Turbo auxiliary water pump once.

All of these were done under warranty or recall (aux pump).

I change oil every 5k. Cheap insurance and I like to tinker. Added an oil catch can at 95k miles. Every little bit helps.

Just had the engine walnut shell blasted at 100k. Build was noticeable but not ridiculous.

Definitely check oil level often. These cars use oil. I check mine every 2nd fillup.

Other than that. I drive it. :).

Thanks for the additional info. I spoke with an independent MINI shop just to get an idea of known problems, but it was everything I'd herd before. Watch the oil was basically it. Any input on what I can expect to pay for things like brakes and other routine maintenance?

If you know how to do your own brakes they are cheap. If you go to the Stealership you will pay out the nose.

FYI aftermarket pads are better than OEM.
