    So,
According to my sales guy the F56 minis are manufactured in The Netherlands. Only the Clubman is still made in Oxford, England. Can anyone confirm or refute the claim made by my sales guy?

Some are also made by Magna-Steyr in Austria (I work for a division of Magna).

Yippee...we have gone from an all British-made car and marque to a German/British made car, to now a World made car. Way to go, BMW...:nonod: At this rate, how many years are left at all for the MINI name at all before it is also reinvented by the Bimmer folks? :incazzato:

Nedcar has a pretty damn good reputation for manufacturing quality. My wife is Dutch. I can deal with that. :)

Jeff Mini has been made in many different places around the world. No reason the MINI shouldn't be too. I have no issue with it being built in the Netherlands. Far better than China or Korea.

If it wasn't for the German owners of MINI there would be no MINI of any kind, zip-nodda-nothing.

I've always said that at British Car shows, where the "purists" always take issue with a British-German car at their venue. I ALWAYS remind them that, if they had not allowed Rover to go bust, the Mini would STILL be British...and the naysayers STFU.

No origin of manufacture. It just says it was built by Bayerische Motoren Werke, AG.

That's interesting I was sure the country of manufacture was shown on that tag. I went out & checked all the cars in the stable. The 95 Miata is the only one that has the country listed (Made in Japan).

My Ford truck says, "Made in USA".

Isn't Usa a city in Japan?
