    Hey all,
It is time again for the Jamestown run!!!!!!! We are changing it up a little this year! I need suggestions for places to have lunch!!!

When: Saturday, April 16th (if weather permits)

We will meet at Starbuck's on 41 and Shaw around 8:15 and depart at 8:30 AM SHARP! We will make a quick stop in Oakhurst at the Raley's parking lot to meet anyone from the northern area (approx arrival 9:20 and depart 9:35). Then head out 49 to Sonora or Columbia for Lunch (location to be determined). Sonora is approximately 127 miles from Fresno and the estimated time for this run is about 3 hours one way. We will be having lunch in Sonora or Columbia this year and then head to Jamestown to enjoy the train ride.

This is my favorite run so I truly hope that all of you can attend! :D
Please RSVP for everyone in your party, due to I need to have a accurate head count for lunch and the train ride. Also please be sure to let me know if you are join us for lunch but will not be joining us for the train ride. I am looking at the 3:00 or 4:00 train ride.

Please check your emails from MidCal as there is more information in those!!!

    Thanks,
    Tina:D

Sorry to jump in on your thread, but this one caught my eye, as I know a great place to eat in Jamestown. Then I realized you were not headed for Virginia. :D

OK so back to the MCM thread and the Jamestown run... Count us in (2). Sounds like the BRG and GP MINI folks will go too! I'll call 'em both and get 'em to reply.

And, if I ever do go back to Virginia again, I'll hit you guys up for the local's favorite...

    Thanks. :beer

Of course we will be going to all. (2 of us). Just pick us up at Mariposa Fairgrounds. We could go to Ghiradelli Square as a side trip. (It's the original not the one in San Francisco). Would take an extra 1/2 hour to 45 minutes. No chocolate for sale though.

So I thought Tina was saying some of the roads are blocked? Is 49 open all the way? Talked to my brother about eating locations.....some real good possibilities  Tina I will get with you and discuss. BTW Janet and I will not be doing the train.

Is there still the thought for using an alternate route other than Hwy 49 through Bagby Canyon, after we leave Mariposa? I've got one in mind, but it may add a bit of travel time. Not too sure though as we would be traveling at faster speeds....
