When I first moved to Austin there was a Mini club that seems to have disbanded. Are there any other Austin, TX area (Georgetown, Round Rock, Cedar Park, Pflugerville, Manor, Buda, Kyle, San Marcos, etc...) clubs?

If not mini any cool general car clubs? When I was still in Vegas there was a Track Rats clubs for the racing/track days/autox crowd. That sorta thing.

If you find one let me know. I'm trying to create a list of all the clubs (not just ones associate with MA).

It's basically a dead forum that was based out of the DFW area so no where near me.

Yeah, there is not much in the way of local MINI clubs in Texas, that I have found. When I was a member at Motorsports Ranch (MSR), I used to see MINIs on open track days on a regular basis. I tracked a Miata at the time, so I didn't get to know any of the MINI owners. But, I tend to assume that there are still people tracking MINIs there.

Austin would be a great area for a club, because there are so many great roads and destinations in the Hill Country.

Yeah. There was an active club here when I first moved here. They were about cruises and car shows but at least there was a club. I ditched the MINI and stopped attending and it seems the club disbanded in the meantime.

When I was in SoCal the SCMM was a great group. Nice mix of showers and goers. Friendly folks all around. Karting league and a group of folks that actually tracked their MINIs.

I don't know if that can happen here in Texas, though.

They aren't as active online as they once wer, but MetroplexMINI is a huge Dallas-based club. Several years ago my wife went to visit her mother for a week. I went 7 days straight going to a club event every night. Happy hours, monthly ,eetings, rallies, DIY days... super active!

Dallas is a 3.5 - 4 hour drive from Austin. Unfortunately, not too practical for regular meetups.

Oh yeah.... no way Austin could call Dallas a local MINI club. I was replying more to Casey who said there weren't any local clubs in TX, when the Dallas club is one of the largest and most active I've seen.
