I just wanted to take a moment and introduce myself. I've known Nathan since prior to his launching of M/A and I've seen all the hard work and diligence that he has put into the site. I can relate as I've personally owned and still own forums so I know the hard work it has taken him to build M/A. My goal is to continue in the same spirit as Nathan on running the site and personally to reinvest any of the financial support received right back into the site. Nathan will still be around and involved with the site and some of the strategic enhancements that are in the planning stages. I'm also a life long car guy and you'll find me at Petite LeMans, Daytona Rolex, and Sebring races as well as on track for HPDE days as well. If you have any questions or suggestions on how we can make M/A the best Mini site anywhere feel free to reach out to me! Thank you for your continued support! Best Regards, Sully
Welcome to M/A and ownership. I will look forward to see the enhancements and the direction of M/A. Don
Welcome to M/A ownership. Please do not let this site turn into the NAM or any of those silly Facebooks sites like LXM or Modified Minis.
Thought I'd throw my "welcome aboard" into the ring. I would say one of the more successful attributes of MA during Nathan's ownership has been his virtual omnipresence. I can't ever remember a query or request for information or assistance that didn't get answered within a few hours, if not almost immediately, in a manner that usually went beyond expectations. He left the impression that he was constantly logged into MA, monitoring the pulse of the site, freely contributing content to existing threads or creating new ones, and maintaining insight into multiple, parallel threads and forums. (Just look at his post count.) Those observations were evidence that he truly cared about the site and had a genuine interest in its operations and in the people upon whose uploaded content the livelihood of the site depended. A difficult act to follow, but the members here would be most appreciative of a continued owner presence and a level of responsiveness that makes us feel like "the boss" is still part of the crowd. Thanks and good luck!
Thanks for all the welcome and feedback. I wouldn't want to begin to imply that I could fill Nathan's shoes but want to continue in the same tradition and fashion and be a good caretaker of the site that the users have come to love!
