RAT-MINI - BROKEN yet again, the build will continue next summer from the new DG-HQ

Porker,- Sad to see her go, but cheaper payments on better car called... And where I'm going there isn't much need for a snow buster.

Grace- 2013 BMW 135i, almost fully optioned, FULL M package (Suspension, Brakes, Interior, and tune) 7 Speed DCT Trans... No MOD plans, it's just that good STOCK!

Down to MONTHS before my house in Denver is listed FOR SALE, and I'm OUT as soon as the check clears!

Hmmmm, I'd like to know where you read this, too.The ND Aisin auto is a hold-over from the NC while the ND stick is pure Skyactiv.
These are perhaps isolated? The Skyactivs are pretty impressive.
I've a full Skyactiv auto 3 as my daily. Love what Mazda has done..... I'm seriously thinking selling the R53 for an ND.

We have a skyactive 2.5 sGT 3 too and like the auto with that paddle shift and sport button, excellent transmission!

The tranny was slightly modified from the NC, irs not exactly the same. The last one happened at 5,000 miles. Discussion was on Apexjunky, a group that I trust. It is not an isolated issue. "They appear to be countershaft related, one gear goes and the pieces shred the other gears."

The good news is Mazda isn't pushing it under the rug, they are looking for a fix, and covering under warranty with no issues.

To me, it's not that there's a problem, in my mind I'm convinced there is, but it's how Mazda deals with it that's important, and they appear to be doing the right thing.

As for me, it means I'll be waiting on getting an ND. But now that there's a rumor that the next gen is getting even lighter, there's even more reason to wait. I love the RF, eventually I'll probably get one, especially when I'm done with the MINI, which hopefully won't be for awhile.

Though I love the look of the RF, I think they should offer a regular hardtop option, or at least a simple removable version like this.

Unfortunately, "The removable hardtop is priced at $4,420 and orders are being accepted exclusively through Mazda Motorsports from owners and those who have committed to purchasing an MX-5 Global Cup race car."
