Shot an interesting car yesterday... (Attn: VetsVette)

    This is a 1967 Corvette "test mule." It was used by engineers to test various components and configurations of the 1967 Corvette before production. It ended up being sold to one of the engineers -- information recorded on the top of the gas tank.

    In its final and current configuration, it has a 427 and... Powerglide??? Yep, Powerglide.

    It looks a little rough, but it is unrestored.

    Had possession of this beast for a while as a 20-something. A buddy left it with me while he was overseas. 4 speed, 427 with L88 Heads. Death. Trap.
