    If it comes in under 2000 pounds my Mini could have a new friend in the garage ASAP!!! :)

    Absolutely. Even if they manage to match the original weight it'd be sweet. With everything getting heavier with more safety stuff, it'll be nice to see how light they can make it. Imagine the gutted race versions of this thing.

    Yep, with a good chassis and a weight that low, you really don't have to have HUGE HP to lay down some fast times. I lay awake sometimes wondering how my Mini would feel at 2000 pounds!!! :)

    I instructed a guy at the track this last weekend with a set-up 1999 Miata. Blew my mind how friggin hard he could corner. :eek6: Those are some fast bastards. :Thumbsup:
