I don't see what the big deal is. I go drifting up there every other weekend. Just take the Mini up the utility elevator and have at it. Yeah, yeah, that's the ticket.

Definitely thinking fake on the skyscraper one...

How would they get the car up there?

And getting permission to do something so dangerous for people below rooftop level would be impossible. Imagine that car sliding off and flying into another building before hitting the street below... People would be freaking out 9/11 style.

+1 although it is cool CGI. I think the second is fake too, the lighting and a few of the angles don't always line up right. But they're both fun to watch!

I think the walls are real, but are probably painted foam. They could anchor them pretty easily and make the holes just so with relative ease.

Here is a still I captured. Look at the bottom of the wall on the LH side and the edge that is blurred against the car. It is faked. The edge along the asphalt would have SOMETHING to discern the difference between asphalt and concrete. There would be an edge of some kind... Also the blur over the door of the car looks wrong. Well done, but still faked.

Your geek flag is flying  but well done! I liked your idea about the foam walls though. It makes me feel a little better that CGI isn't THAT good . . . yet.

Oh it is that good... I think this was done in fun and they wanted to generate exactly the interest we have shown. I can do some amazing things in Photoshop and you would never know the difference. Much better than the hack job they did on Obama's B/C... :D
