To be fair to Morgan, most of whose cars are indeed throwbacks to the horse and cart era, the Aero Coupé actually has a bonded aluminium chassis. But they still use ash and plywood to make the supports that connect the aluminium outer panels to the (I think bought-in) aluminium chassis - technology they understand! If this video can be watched in North America, it does confusingly mix up the 'normal' and Aero Morgan models - but it is probably your only chance to see a car body being dipped in rot-proofing liquid!
