    Being a dad, I enjoyed the shot of him holding his kid with a smoldering cigarette Bogartin' out of his mouth, followed by a shot of him doubling the same kid helmetless on a motorcycle. Today, the cops would be called.

    I saw an interview with his son. He told a story about when they were shooting La Mans he was with the camera crew at the end of one of the long straights filming a shot of his dad driving the Porsche. When he got to the end McQueen stopped and opened the door and asked his son if he wanted a ride. Of course he said yea.

    What happened to the times when men were men?

    There is a great behind the scenes short that I think is still available on the blu-ray version of the movie.
