I'll be surprised if a show about a 24 hour race, despite it's long and involved history, remains interesting for a full 24 hours. But I'm definitely going to give it a chance.

Indeed!!! Kinda unreal to think we are actually going to be there.

What a great way to start a month-long vacation in the UK... Even though having to take the wive's to Paris for four days was part of the trade off. I guess its an ok compromise... Don't'cha think?!!

A couple of things to do are driving the track and going to the Le Mans Museum. Since a lot of the track is on public roads it's open everyday before and after the race sessions. It was cool driving down the Mulsanne, without the chicanes, all the way to the Porsche curves in our Renault Twingo rental. It's like doing a partial parade lap on one of the greatest circuits in the world.

Also, the Saucisson sandwiches are great. That's pretty much all I ate while at the track.

Hey thanks for the suggestions. Not sure we will drive the track, unless we can hitch a ride from someone...
I will look for those sandwiches though!
