    Hello again everybody!

It is time I move my build off of NAM, and to a place that actually cares about MINI's...

This hair brained idea started around Thanksgiving of 2013, and I began work around Christmas time, so this thread will be a little behind.

Some of you here know my horror story I have had with my car, so I am not going to elaborate too much on that, but if anybody wants to know more, go deal with the pop ups and jargon of the sewing site and look it up! Long story short, I made a lot of bad decisions in the past, but that is all over with now. Isobell is getting rebuilt with a definite attitude, and strong personality.

I decided to change EVERYTHING I was doing with my car, after I decided to not even support M7 by leaving their parts on it! Sorry but when a company deliberately makes an exact copy of somebody else's work, without so much as an acknowledgement of the original designer, and tries to pass it off as their own new idea... Well that's not OK with me. (Not to mention I had to put some major work into their products just to meet my expectations.)
Well that's enough rant, so what was I to do...
Strip all that garbage off, cram it into a corner, and forget about it!

Without going the Challenge car wannabe idea I originally was doing, how was I going to separate my car from the masses of MINI's? Well make it a rusty original of course!

The idea here is to take my 2005 MCS, make it look as if it has been thrown together from multiple donors, and left in a field for 50+ years to rot! Then add a lot of motor, and some nice wheels.

I have seen his progress pictures on the RMW site and people will be surprised of all the work he has done and how it tuning out. It looks awesome and he still has a ways to go.

With projects like this perfection takes time but it's worth it in the end.:popcorn:

Dick, post up a picture of the bumper you are looking for so others know what it looks like. I am sure someone has one.

Oh you should be able to post pictures from the RMW site to M\A.

Ok so picture time! I still need to hunt through the camera, but I can pull some off of the other sites. (Keep in mind this paint is HARD to capture on film, it throws the white balance of the camera everywhere, spots blend in, and in most cases the pics don't do it justice... If you where at the Dragon, and saw the mirror I brought, you will know. )

The first time I did the roof:

Taking off just enough of the color base to reveal the rust coats...

Almost done, right before I screwed the whole roof up: :mad2:

Well I thought I would add a small amount of white to the final matte clear, and it clouded the whole thing over! Not a good look, so live and learn... It was only 4 days of work down the crapper.
