Never thought I would worry about my beautiful Roadster laying idle in danger of losing its battery charge. But emergency surgery has laid me up for awhile, so my wife Sue is cranking her up now and then. Have missed all my MA buddies, but back at the computer and hopefully back in the cockpit in another couple weeks. Supposed to show on May 31, too.
Sorry to hear about your troubles. I wish you a speedy recovery and a quick return to the driver's seat. And, where the heck is Crozet?
Excellent question. We are unincorporated and 10 miles west of Charlottesville. Named after Col. Claudius Crozet, founder of VMI, first VA state engineer, and designer and supervisor of the 4,300 foot long Blue Ridge Tunnel which carried passenger and freight steam trains across Blue Ridge Mtns for 86 years until 1944 when it was replaced with larger bore. Old tunnel currently being restored as trail and historic artifact. Now that's more than you'd ever want to know!
