Site is recently pretty unusable on my AOL browser (an old Chrome version - 43) posts are shoved way over to a narrow strip on the right. IE11 is a little better, but couldn't post this there (window for message was a very narrow strip on the left, and lots of other stuff wonky, but can at least view threads). Posting this on an up to date Chrome (49) browser, which works. Didn't try Edge, as I never use it.
Been having it happen randomly on my Nexus running chrome....something about the site being "mobile responsive" I think....tends to go away if I load it up...then as for the desktop version.
Nope didn't work this time... Have too zoom in.... columns are all wrong.... Really hate the rendering since the update.
Yeah, I can use the quick reply window OK, but if you click the reply button the window is all weird and unusable.
Had the same problem on my HP laptop. Pressed "ctrl alt delete", and that opened up a menu that has "start task manager". Clicked on that, and when that opened up, I highlighted the M/A program, and selected "end task". When I next logged on to M/A, all was back to normal, i.e. regular format, not side-by-side "split screen".
Thanks for letting us know what ya'll are sometimes seeing. IE is going to have issues. It's a classic browser. Might be fun to drive now and then but lacks the modern touches. As to the rest of this. Making a list to work on. Your patience is appreciated.
Site looks fine on iPad with Safari both latest versions. Also looks good on Windows 7 with IE 11 and Google chrome.
Everything is available, just hard to find. The 'Advertisement' page takes up the whole screen and the important stuff is clear off to the right out of sight. Took a while to find the good stuff, not used to paying attention to the slider on the bottom. It is said the people can get used to anything.
The AOL browser hasn't supported standard web conventions and method for years. IE 11 was suppose to fix all the stuff the screwed up in IE 10. It didn't, it's even worse. When ever I have a customer call and say they can't edit their site I ask if they're using IE 11. Most of the time it updated overnight and they didn't notice.
I have not used windows or AOL in a long time but a LOOOOOOOOONG time ago when I did...... I would sign in on AOL then miniziae AOL and open my browser and then things would work fine. I have no clue if AOL still works this way. Ok I will admit I still use earthlink. But they were always Mac friendly so I am repaying the favor.
On an iPad Pro right now, and the site seems to work but the type is smaller than usual, even in landscape. All updates have been installed, and yes I know it's a minor gripe for a rare platform. Just thought I'd mention it.
iPad Pro............ some people! I'll trade my original iPhone for that junky Pro, its smaller and easer to carry.
