I have noticed for the last while that each time I visit the site when I go to click on the Unread Posts button it will claim there is ALOT more unread posts then there apparently is. Example- This morning it claimed to have 347 unread posts. Once I clicked the button and the next page opened it claim there was only 48 unread posts.. Is that some secret way to run up the post count!! Haha..
Same here, I also noticed whenever I click on the My Garage button in the margin below a users name it takes you to a generic page of unsorted garages.
These are issues from having to update php and mysql while using older, unsupported modifications to a few versions back software.
I think it's counting posts not threads. They are different. One thread could have 40 post in it so when you view it and refresh the count goes down quickly.
I've noticed it, too, but never gave it much thought. Maybe I need to find a way to add this "undocumented feature" to my "If MINIs were Computers" thread. :biggrin5: CD
Same here, wanted to check out a few member's mods and had to search the entire Garage area. I login pretty religiously through the week but I am being told, as of this morning that the last time I logged in was the 5th of August
That's not it either. This morning it said there were 137 new posts, clicked it, and it went down to 63, but were only about 20 threads listed with new posts in them.. It's some how just random I guess..
