If you use Chrome for your browser there is a fix for the Photobucket problem. It is a third party extension I found reading on a Lotus 7 site : https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/photobucket-embed-fix/naolkcpnnlofnnghnmfegnfnflicjjgj Some MIT guys came up with it and it's free. Here is something from my Photobucket account, I can see it now thanks to the chrome extension.
You have to install the extension in the Chrome browser to see it, you will be able to see everyone's Photobucket photo's again, if they haven't deleted their accounts or removed their pictures. The link I posted is to the extension. just click on "Added to Chrome" and it will be installed on your Chrome browser Then clear your browser cache and you'll be able to view Photobucket pictures again, at least until Photobucket figures a way to stop it. This only works with the Chrome browser, if you use a different browser, you're out of luck.
Can see Dave's picture, can't see picture in first post. Chrome, latest version, extension installed, page reloaded.
Yup and I still can't see your pictures on a windows machine with I.E. 11 or mt iPad Pro with Safari.
But with this Chrome extension, you can now view other peoples "how to" posts in which they have Photobucket pictures. All those pictures are not lost.
Quick update - I've been working on the new site platform. It appears there is an add-on I can get that will fix this specific issue. I looked into it for the current platform it's all custom code. I realize not a great update (i.e. no fix across the entire site today), but I do think it will be fixed in the near future. That said, once the new platform is up and running, if you want to see it in advance and test it out let me know.
