Hello, I recently purchased a used MINI, new for me and have met some great people and have had a ball driving again. I find myself thinking about the next outing and what new back road I can find. Having the MINI reminds me of when I first became licensed and started driving solo, I would volunteer to do errands for any body just to have an excuse to drive. Anybody need a ride?
We ran the military group page 'till it ran out of steam. Maybe we need to start an Old Guy group and see how far that can be pushed. We need more Old Guys to help maintain order and to make sure the beer is kept at the PROPER temperature. Welcome to MINIland. You are old Jim, just not older. Let's put this question to Crash, as he is the founder of the Old Farts Driving Club. What ages shall we set for membership? Jim
Welcome! Are you in Roseville Michigan? If you are there is a fun event this week end at Detroit Tuned.
I do not do clubs well. You pick a number & run the club for me. One thing I'm sure of, the OFMC badge should not be displayed under your MINIs bonnet. :rolleyes5:
The Old Guy's group is up and running. Look for Social Groups in User CP. The name of the group is EMTS (Elderly MINI Thrill Seekers). Our motto coined by jbewley: "Old and treacherous thumps young and daring"
A comment like that assures you of a position on the executive board if anybody ever wanted to start one of those danged things.
