Interesting... If I 'open image in new tab' on Chrome, I go to the red vert image in dropbox. If I just click on the link, I get the empty white box with the eternal spinning load indicator.

I didn't think this would show up as I was in the 'test' forum. I have spent a ton of time organizing my pictures in 'dropbox' after F/B asked me for $$$$. I've never been good at this 'computer' stuff so I'm looking for something 'easy'. Damn F/B...

I was wondering why a test picture post had so much activity, now I know! Good job!

    Who makes the backup camera/mirror?

    :)
    Don

Integrate a forward facing camera and a DVR into that rear-view, rear-view mirror and you will have a winning product! Rear view camera / 2-channel dash cam combo!

Yup and nothing is better evidence in court than a video of an idiot hitting you if that ever happens.

I hope you never need the video.

Yep. But I'm serious... It's amazing how crappy most of the solutions are in the auto DVR market. Most are horribly-made POS in tacky form factors. You would think that it would be fairly easy to make a simple forward bullet camera, rear bullet camera and DVR assembly (to be hidden somewhere inside the car), but nobody seems to have done it yet.

The problem with this market is as soon as you develop a form factor that is thoughtful, 100 knock-offs will appear in the market and undercut your sales at 1/3rd the price. There are a couple of solid companies that sell dashcams in the US, but they are usually $300 or so in a sea of $100 competitors. Sure... the $300 has much better hardware and software quality, but a $200 savings speaks to a lot of folks. :(
