In the first of a two-part Top Gear special, Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May are in Africa with a simple mission - to find the definitive source of the Nile. Over the years many explorers claim to have already done just that, but the Top Gear trio believe that they can do better by travelling further and faster than any exploration team in history using only grit, ingenuity and three ageing estate cars. As the blurb from the Beeb programming says this is Part 1 of two. Part 2 will be next Sunday March, 10. Same Top Gear time, same Top Gear place. Season 19 Episode 05 - Africa Special Part 1. Season 19 Episode 07 - Africa Special Part 2.
I think these epic overland jouneys are some of my favorite shows......and not only do we get to see places I'll probably never see personally, the little glimpses into the culture and lives of those that live there are fascinating too. Well done TG! By the way, where haven't they gone on the planet now?
They did a couple of short bits there, but you're right, they haven't gone across the country yet - or new Zealand/ Tasmania. What about Canada? I know they did the North Pole thing..... Not a lot of TG virgin lands out there, are there?
Downloading now! thanks ever so! On the where should they go now topic, what about a Top gear drone race across Mars...
Antarctica, I think. I'm pretty sure though that international law would prevent them from doing much there. Though, I do recall someone trying to go to the South Pole on a motorcycle.... Shinji Kazama - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
