I tell everyone to get the DDM intake. What sound in the cabin! Just expensive, which is why I am building two DIY intakes of similar design for my other two cars. But if you want instant gratification, get that DDM intake. Low enough to fit a strut brace across the top of it, too.
I had the DDM intake on my first R53 and loved it. Well made and fit under my M7 strut top bar. Large filter area. If I didn't have the JCW airbox on my new (to me) R53, I'd buy another immediately.
Thanks guys but I have one now and need a another one so i can swap them out. I have it black chromed and need to swap it out every so often to have it redone. I like what I have. Look at my garage and you will see why.
