Lifted Top Ring Land CP Piston

This piston (RMW/CP/HighCR) has a severely lifted top ring land on the intake-side and a good chunk completely missing at one valve relief. The results of detonation are cumulative (a little detonation every now and then adds up to the same as a lot of detonation at one time). Pinging is a common report by owners of these pistons. The state of tune also had a role in promoting detonation in this case; too much fuel and too much timing is evident on all four pistons.
