I have a 2012 R58 JCW with the N14 since new. Trouble free with the exception of one coil taking a dump.
No knee on the center line with a 850 pound bike. The Roadmaster is the choice for long distance touring (two up).
Maybe the new FTR1200 due after the first of the year?
