I want to swap factory 06 MCS 17x7, 4x100, 48 mm offset Rims out for some black factory MCS Clubman 17x7, 4x100, 42mm offset Rims.

Ideally this setup should allow me to bolt right on and remount my current tires.

I would appreciate help getting my head around this. Does the change in offset set the Rims deeper in the wheelwell or will it push them out a bit?

Either way, I'm thinking 6mms is not all that big a deal, but if it sets them deeper in the wheelwell I may have some turning radius/scrub issues.

If this is the case, I would appreciate any input on wheel spacers, etc.

Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

    Jzen.

:cornut: Keep checking back and you'll get your info. A lot of our gear heads are on summer vacation etc. You might also bring up 'The Tire Rack' and ask them. They are very people/question friendly.

they'll stick out an extra 6 mm - it's opposite of what you would think.
