I don't normally point this kind of thing out but I found it interesting that 1/11/11 has to date been the day the with the most posts ever. Not just by 1 or 2 or even 10, but just under 30 posts over the previous best day evar...

I think the confluence of MOTD registration starting, ice in the Southeast, and the Jim and Chuck Bowling Shirt Show pushed the day...

I've always been one to stress quality over quantity so I really don't pay a lot of attention to the daily post totals, but when checking the overall stats this leaped out today.

    M/A's top 10 days....for post quantity...

    1/11/11 - 293
    5/5/09 - 267
    5/6/09 - 262
    10/4/10 - 258
    5/7/09 - 251
    8/18/10 - 250
    10/14/10 -249
    9/21/10 - 244
    10/18/10 - 243
    10/15/10 -230

Glad we could be a small part of this landmark day. The Bowling Shirt is going to be a hard act to follow.

I think the August surge had a lot of technical threads running, where this one seems to be more community-based threads, like bowling shirts. And the October surge was when NAM went down, right? Interesting to see the ebb and flow of the forum.

On the main page is a stats block located on the right side that has total registered, total threads and total posts. The numbers are sorta close to accurate, the total members includes banned users, of which there are 8 right now. Total threads and total posts do not increment when there are items in the admin or moderator areas.

Interesting, but the stat that caught me off guard recently was the most users ever online at the same time number. It topped out at 509 at 11:10 AM on 12-08-2010.

    bowling shirt...bowling shirt...bowling shirt :beer:beer:beer

It all boils down to this being the best MINI forum, growing daily, staying true to its core, and a ton of fun for all of us.

    Thank-You Nathan

I just rarely if ever check the home page. Always on either my cp for subscribed threads or the unread posts page
