Well my R53 wasnt going to be upstaged by my classic in the refresh/reboot department....ill have pics up shortly but this is what is happening or has happened:

    new front bumper fogs
    headlights refinished

Brakes: entire brake system is being gutted out and replaced with a full front and rear set of R56 "S" brakes...they have been painted JCW red and have WMW stainless lines/EBC Red Stuff Pads/Motul RBF600 DOT4/

    Suspension: New Strut mounts

    Engine:
All new sensors throughout the engine bay
    replacement core support
    Mishimoto Aluminum Radiator
    complete fluid flush
    both PS lines replaced
    full tune up

here are a few pics i snapped last night....the shop is prepping the side parts of the wing for paint and they should start on the black parts (roof/wing/scoop/intercooler diverter) by tomorrow with the rest of the kit and install coming this weekend
here are the arches and the scoop slick sanded and sprayed with an adhesion promoter to ensure the paint will not come off or chip off the arches
    20111121_205822.jpg
    close up of the scoop
    20111121_205852.jpg
and the hood....it was sanded down and 6 dents were taken out and all of the rock chips and bullseyes knocked out and filled in

Now going down the list of parts....FEDEX just dropped off my newest toy...

this is the Stratmosphere MK-1 Flashpoint exhaust to replace my magnaflow
this a completely stainless exhaust with chromed dual welded tips....this thing is built so well i swear it borders on car part porn
    DSC00473.jpg DSC00474.jpg DSC00475.jpg DSC00476.jpg
pretty good welds on this...cant believe that this is less than a Milltek...should flow nicely
    DSC00477.jpg
looked inside the resonator...they build vortex chambers and grooves in there...that is some anal retentive engineering
    DSC00478.jpg

after the install next on the docket is the RMW Vi-PEC EMS
