Brakes Wheels 1st Gen Tires 17's vs 18's on 2012 JCW Clubman ?

Hi to all that don't know I'm Max and yes I'm a noob ! LOL Ok looked on this list and got some good idea's about things but let me ask directly (And I apologise if this issue has been discussed and I couldn't find it)

SOoooo Looking to order a new JCW Clubman (Yes I know the wait is like forever. I plan to put my daughter & I in a suspended animation chamber as soon as I order ) <----- That's a joke :lol:

Ok as I'm writing this question it's sounding way to complicated ... Anyway I could order the 17 (standard) or get the 18's (Way expensive I'd prob get my own) How much clearance will the 18's give me ? Keep in mind I have only seen a "S" on the lot (If the JCW is the same ride height as the S) I want to lower the stance by 1.2-1.5 now I cant tell from the MINI USA build sight if the JCW is pre-lowered. Assuming (Yes I know the joke...lol) That I would have to lower the stance myself via coil covers or springs (Whole other debate I know...) After all that Jeez... would the 17's or 18's be best in the astute opinions of the wise members of this institution with my stance goals in mind. Any help, advice, (or even a flat out WTF ??) would be greatly appreciated (& the latter understood !) by this humble narrator.. Thanks ! :crazy:

 

Wow those wheels are SLAMMED!! ... I'm not sure about the color I'm kinda feeling black for now. Is that your white MINI in the "Indy" pic ? How low is your ride if I may ask and how are you getting that stance ? From the pic that looks about perfect for what I'm shooting for. (Not familiar off hand with nm springs ?) Yea as a Japan import fan for many years I am real familiar with Rota. Possible choices I liked with the Club in mind is SVN (Carbon Black), D-Force (Hyper Black), & for 17's Attack (Sports Bronze) bur they are all great wheels.. IMO
