First post! Long time lurker, new member. Thought I would offer my R50 to the great members of MA.

Due to an upcoming move across the country and an expected baby, I am selling my beautiful 2006 MINI Cooper in mint condition, with only 38,000 miles. I am the second owner, and the car is accident-free, with a clean title, and a five speed manual transmission. Equipped from the factory with the sport and premium packages.

    Vehicle highlights:
-Astro Black Metallic Paint ($500 option)
    -Anthracite Interior
    -Black Sport Seats
    -Only 38,000 Miles
    -Dual-Pane Sunroof
    -Fog lights
    -Automatic Climate Control
    -Dynamic Stability Control
-16" Sport Wheels with a set of BRAND NEW TIRES; Kumho Ecsta 4X All-Season Ultra High Performance Tires. Wheels and tires in excellent condition.
    -Sport and Premium Packages
    -Cruise control and on-board computer
-Factory auxiliary audio input for iPod or MP3 Player
-Lifetime Southern Car (originally purchased in Atlanta, GA)
    -Garage kept
    -No rust
    -Non-smoker car
    -No dents, etc.
    -Completely rattle free
    -No mushrooming on strut towers
-Cabrio cross braces installed for increased structural rigidity
    -Chrome mirror caps
    -K&N air filter
    -Like-new floor mats
-Includes all three original keys (including valet key), and all original documentation, owner's manuals, etc. I even have the original window sticker.
-Meticulously maintained (I have all my records).
-Super reliable Getrag five speed manual transmission (much more reliable than the Midlands manual transmission which was included in 02-04's, and significantly more reliable than the CVT automatic transmission that came with all automatic Coopers).
-Excellent gas mileage - I averaged 29.5 MPG in the city, and could easily get 39MPG on the highway.
-Great utility, I could haul a twin mattress or two folding bicycles with the seats folded down (see pics below).
-With a late 2006 build date (09/06), the MINI technician at the dealer told me this is the most reliable MINI ever made.

Asking $12,550 for this difficult to find, pristine example of a first generation MINI Cooper with all the bells and whistles, low mileage, and excellent maintenance history.

Available for viewing in Brickell during the weekdays, and in Coral Gables on weeknights and weekends.

With a baby on the way, the most likely MINI in my future will be a Countryman. However, I am looking to move away from MINIs for the foreseeable future (have already owned two R53's, one extensively modified, and I'm not crazy about new MINI quality and design). We are also moving to the DC area, and I am going to attempt to get by with public transportation and a bicycle :fingerscrossed:.

For the first time in 12 years, I do not have a car and it is somewhat liberating and disconcerting at the same time! My wife and I are sharing a 2010 Corolla... very comfortable, very dependable, very economical, and very boring.

Next car will probably be a cheap/useful runabout. I'm thinking a used 1st gen Scion xB MT (owned one before, loved it). Once we buy a house and get settled in, maybe something else :)idea: S2K?)
