A 2012 Motoring Alliance calendar is in the works, would you like to be included? Submit your entries to 2012 Calendar entries Entries must be at least 800x600 and 300 dpi. Even larger is fine and in fact better.
Hmmm..I dug around and found nothing by you uploaded or stuck in any queue. Would you mind uploading again please? Thanks
Nathan, I had the same problem. It says file uploading . . . and then just resets to the same page, no file names, no error message? I'm using Firefox, I'll try it with Safari.
I guess my file size was too big, when I uploaded them one at time time, it worked Thanks for the tip!
Jim, If you're using a Mac, import the photos into iPhoto. Then pick the one you want and export it to your desktop, when you do select large format and high quality (instead of original). That's what did the trick for me. If you're not using a Mac . . . well THERE'S your problem
Killboy's and other photos that have been purchased may need a release from the photographer. Best to check with them before uploading for using in the calendar. File size limit is 3000kb.
The idea us to have lot to pick from. The calendar committee will pick the ones that work best for each month from the pool.
One of mine is from Killboy... I would need his permission even if I have already purchased it from him?
I would think if you purchased it, then it is yours. Paying for it should give all rights to you. Jim
I'm pretty sure that's not the way it works.... The photographer is considered an "artist", and they own the photo..... Now they would be happy to sell you a picture. But that doesn't mean they are giving over the rights to that picture to you so you can make more pictures for other uses. The only way that works is if you get a release from the photographer. Basically the photographer wants to sell anyone as many pictures as they can, which is certainly understandable, since that's their livelihood. Awww heck Jim.... You could even buy one of me in my "S" from the Dragon last year.....
From Killboy's site Being this is a commercial site you would need to let Killboy know if it is selected for the calendar and then we'd have to put a Killboy logo on the image.
