The all-new MINI has been spied wearing slightly less camouflage, prior to a confirmed November 18 reveal.

The prototype was spotted undergoing testing in Germany and thanks to the lower amount of camo we are able to notice some details of the new generation. It boasts slimmer A-pillars and comes with a longer hood combined with a smaller front grille and enlarged headlights. Overall, the new MINI seems to be longer and wider than the outgoing model which should improve cabin room.

It looks down right good in it camouflage. Maybe they should offer that as a option. :D

Wonder if they will actually use that 1st Gen style front grille. They showed the prototype of the Coupe and Roadster for a year with one and then changed it at production time..

The first thing that screams at me... look at the rake on the front windshield!

Not sure if I like it... not sure if I hate it... but it is different.

Doesn't look too bad. I'd love to see the 2014 F56 side by side with a 2013 R56 for an exact visual comparison.

Whats next... Make it look more like a KIA soul?

I still hate the look of this thing! If I didnt have an R53, I wouldnt even put MINI in my list of possible new cars. :(

It makes sense. The Countryman and Paceman both have 5 lug wheels. All BMW's do too. This allows for more parts sharing across all the lines keeping costs lower.

It does ruin the second hand market for a time but as more of the 3rd generation MINIs get out there that market will grow.

That front bumper cover is definitely different from the other shots we've seen. "Quick, get a new mold made and into the machine."

Disappointed that they took some of the camouflage off. What it needs is more camouflage, not less. If they got the camouflage to the point that it was impossible to see the F56, then they'd have it about right.

I like it too. I would have fallen off my chair if there hadn't been all this negative response. :)

Thanks Crash, for your support.

It honestly cracks me up to read some of the posts here. Be it a commercial, new model....well, new anything after the R-53, it gets blasted. I'll bet, if MINI announced that it was bringing back the R-53, getting rid of all other models and that was the only one they would produce, some folks would still complain.:lol:

Yep it's human nature for what it's worth me thinks.

I'll be snapping up an R56 now that you can't get a new one. It'll be a justa. :D

Yeah, we're off base. The MINI keeps getting longer, wider, and loses the water molding process for the body panels, which gave it those special curves and lines on the hood, for a cheaper stamped process, loses the iconic central speedo...Yep, no reason to prefer the old model.

Heck, I can't even properly run over a european pedestrian in the R56 or F56.

Jim I would not complain and maybe just maybe I would buy another MINI.

At the rate BIG MINI is going my next mini will be a classic.
