Who's all coming to breakfast this Saturday? I'll be there fueling up for a fun filled afternoon of helping my parents move. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
No breakfast for me, we have a labor and delivery class all day...sigh, I miss breakfast and the OSU game
I will be there with bells on...don't forget about British Car Night next week (especially for those missing on sat)!
I'm thinking that I want to be there, well in fact I do, but I have very sad news...... I don't have the Mini anymore. Thu and I broke up and I sold it to her. There's more info to the break-up but I'll save your eyes. I'm in Boise now picking up a new car, it's a 1992 Honda Civic Si Hatch back, and I want to bring it and take it for a drive to see how she does. Looks like I'm now in search of my Mini Classic so anyone have any info it would be greatly appreciated. I hate it when women make stupid decisions. No offense to anyone.
Mike I am sorry for both of you guys. I had a 92 Civic Si hatchback before rice was used to describe them. It was one of my favorite cars. Peppy light & nimble, everything I am not. Make sure to come on over to breakfast. We are not car snobs. Hot hatches are cool no matter who builds them.
Babs & I are headed to Baltic (lunch stop), Walnut Creek & Trail after breakfast if anyone wants to exercise their MINI on an back road drive.
Sorry I missed the opportunity to join you guys. I was picking up my parts this morning @ Outmotoring. I mentioned this to the wife. So we plan on doing the same trip tomorrow. I was just wondering what route you took so I can run the same scenic trip. Thanks! Chuck
After breakfast some of us went over to Outmotoring's world headquarters. Sorry we missed you. British car night at QSL monday night. I'll start a new thread on that. Sent from my Droid using Tapatalk
The roads will still be there, but unfortunately most all of the places are closed on Sunday in Amish country. We took 16 over to Coshocton & headed north on 83 to 643 to 651 into Baltic. From there we did a lot of wandering on county/township roads looking at farms & Amish folks. From Trail we used county/township roads to Mt Hope & then 62 through Millersburg (watch the speed trap!) then south to Danville. We headed west to 3 & home to Hooterville. If you don't have one a DeLorme Map book of Ohio is a wonderful reference to keep in your car.
Thanks for the routing and speed trap info. Forgot about the Sunday issue, was looking forward to a nice country lunch. Been following the plans for a scenic trip you guys are working on for West Virginia. The wife and I might like to tag along if it's OK.
There doesn't seem to be much action happening on that front as of yet. Sort of a non-event event. We'll keep you in the loop. You may be able to find a place open, but off hand I can't think of one. Wait I just did... I'd bet the Der Dutchman in Walnut Creek would be open.
Chuck, if the WV run is going to happen I guess the Silverbacks will need to do the planning for the Weedhoppers :cryin: let's put our ideas together and then let everyone know what we're doin :beer
