Hey scottinBend, did you have a post that tested structural rigidity of strut tower and strut tower braces?? I was looking for an old post about that.

Some may think our very few hall monitors are not quite so even handed, but alas we try hard and while mistakes are sometimes made we are man enough to fix them and ...gasp...take responsibility for our actions.

Just watch out for the goaljnky character

    Glad to have ya aboard

I didn't do any tests, but there were a couple of threads on the NAMless site that come to mind. I think one was from Randy Webb talking about how he strung some string across the towers and found that they hardly moved at all. And the other was by I think OldRick and how he did a test where he loaded up one side of the car while on a lift or jack stands and discovered the same thing.....no movement.

One of the tests I remember involved some zip ties and an partially unbolted brace. The zip ties were set up to 'record' any flex causing movement in the unbolted brace. There was no appreciable movement.
